What it is for
Compare independent approaches to one mission while keeping their intermediate histories separate until evaluation.
The baseline runs three candidate worlds from a comparable start. Variant runners can add structured routing, evidence review, extra cells, replicas, or bounded child missions before the comparative gate.
PARTIAL · 12 RUNNERS WIRED · QUALIFICATION PENDINGCompare independent approaches to one mission while keeping their intermediate histories separate until evaluation.
Choose Trinity when parallel candidate work fits the budget and can be evaluated against shared constraints. Mission signals may select a preset automatically; missing preconditions fall back to the controlled baseline. A selected preset still needs its own output evidence.
Its useful foundations are controlled comparison, independent replication, and multi-objective selection. The three-world name is a runtime design, not a claim of a specific biological mechanism.
All twelve variant runners are connected to the mission/supervisor path with variant-specific completion gates.
R3 predates the wiring corrections: all twelve missions escalated and none merged. The corrected paths have not yet completed a post-correction end-to-end qualification.
The controlled baseline runs three independent worlds from a comparable initial state and compares sealed evidence. Other variants use dedicated runners and gates; some add a 16-cell grid, replicas, or bounded child missions. A connected runner is not proof of a valid result.
D = (x₁, x₂, x₃) ; scoreᵢ = f(evidenceᵢ, constraints) ; eligibleᵢ ⇔ evidenceᵢ ≥ threshold
f represents a stated comparison rule, not a learned probability. Selection can retain several non-dominated solutions; promoting a candidate is not a production deployment.
Select a variant to explore steps based on its documented contract. This illustration does not run agents or call runtime services.
Reproducible baseline: compare three fixed strategies on a migration or code review.
The drawing changes with the topology and variant to show their documented structure and policy. It is an explanatory model; maturity labels and runtime limits still apply.
This status follows the maturity of the variant policy in GenOS’ canonical catalog. “Policy implemented” does not certify end-to-end execution: topology maturity, required adapters, permissions, and evidence remain separate runtime conditions. This illustration does not run agents; its selector is manual. In the runtime, mission signals may select a preset automatically when its preconditions are met.
Working slice: Twelve runners share comparison, isolated execution, bounded research and persisted resume guards with targeted runtime tests.
Still open: The pre-correction R3 campaign ended 12/12 ESCALATE and 0 merge; no corrected-path real-mission campaign is published.
Linked evidence: integration. A policy for a variant does not establish a successful end-to-end mission or comparative performance.
No topology-specific benchmark protocol is linked from this profile.
