What it means
in GenOS.
This is a software registry with bounded executable audits, not a claim that philosophical theories are true or that GenOS has subjective consciousness. A declared field or boolean can satisfy a local predicate without proving its external truth, source independence or the full philosophical invariant. Simulated activation and ablation tests remain distinct from real-mission validation.
Classify the registry → Inspect implementation contracts → Evaluate bounded interpretations → Plan comparable experiments → Require independent evidence
For a concept c, compare an activated run Y(c) with a baseline Y(∅) under the same scenario and budget. The useful effect is ΔY=Y(c)−Y(∅), interpreted only with declared metrics, provenance, and failure conditions.
Explore the mechanism: GenOS Philosophy
A qualitative teaching model of this concept. It does not run GenOS or validate its implementation.
The modeled transition may proceed. Change the assumption and move through the stages to inspect the decision path.
How it works
at a glance.
Classify the registry
The 420 entries are typed as notions, theories, methods, norms, or analytical frameworks, with traditions, distinctions, competing interpretations, conflicts, confidence, and sources preserved.
Inspect implementation contracts
Each of the 420 profiles declares its shared primitive, observed field, predicate and interpretation. Default maturity is mechanism-linked, including the 21 historical pilots; an unknown concept receives no fallback executable profile.
Evaluate bounded interpretations
Supported concept adapters return scoped evaluations and their limits. Their responses do not make a philosophical theory true or a general mission verified.
Plan comparable experiments
Readiness checks establish ready-for-experiment, not promotion. Ontogenesis passes selected contracts to the runner; compare concept-enabled behavior with the declared baseline and retain independent evidence.
Require independent evidence
Registry health, structured contracts and successful transport are separate from tested behavior, runtime integration and validated mission outcomes.
What is connected,
and how far.
All 420 profiles now calculate explicit bounded predicates and update audit state through eleven shared primitives. Missing or violated observations create verification tasks and response caveats; they never establish success. Ontogenesis replays explicitly requested audits before integration, while automatic suggestions remain advisory. The 15,120 observations are simulated cases on four graphs and three seeds, not real multi-agent missions. External truth, independent attestation and mission benefit remain separate obligations; promotionEligible stays false.
The registry supplies 420 explicit bounded audits over eleven shared primitives, with 15,120 simulated activation, ablation and falsification observations. Ontogenesis replays requested audits from confined source-bound observations. The default maturity remains mechanism-linked; these tests do not validate philosophical theories, external truth or general mission benefit.
A duplicate or ambiguous entry can receive inconsistent meanings. · A philosophical theory can be mistaken for an executable mechanism. · A successful tool call can be mistaken for evidence that a concept improves GenOS. · A topology that works for one mission can be overgeneralized to others. · A norm can guide or justify a decision without resolving the underlying moral disagreement.

Original experimental-design treatment; GenOS comparisons need matched inputs and a declared measurement protocol.
Open publication ↗Primary research describes the cited mechanism; specific technologies may instead cite their original technical documentation. These sources provide context and do not validate the GenOS implementation.
