GENOS LAB · P2 MODELS
SIMULATIONA simplified model running in the browser. It explains an idea and proves nothing about the runtime.

Explore eight topology models and seven concept models with bounded, inspectable inputs. Each result is computed in your browser and labeled as a teaching simulation.

TOPOLOGY MODEL · LOCAL SIMULATION

Metapopulation

Model local loss, migration pressure, and recolonization capacity.

BROWSER SIMULATION
SIMULATED RESULTRECOVERY MODEL

2 vacant patches recolonized in the model

This browser model estimates recovery capacity from counts only. It does not run live migration or founder services, validate receiver fitness, or prove local viability.

COMPARABLE EXPERIMENT PROTOCOL · PROPOSED

A question this model cannot answer alone

Hypothesis
Does bounded migration recover more functioning groups after local failures than isolated groups?
Control
Same group count and resources with migration disabled.
Measure
Recovery rate, time to recovery, capability diversity, and transfer cost.
Falsifier
No recovery improvement or higher resource cost without compensating capability retention.

Pre-register task population, software/model versions, random seeds, and a shared budget before running either arm. The browser simulation is not evidence for this hypothesis.

These models help explain policies and relationships. They do not call GenOS services or provide runtime evidence. Follow each concept or topology profile for its actual implementation status, source, and limitations.
